The Waldorf Hilton unveils refurbishment of its Adelphi Suite

The Waldorf Hilton, London has just completed an £800,000 refurbishment of its Adelphi Suite function room.

The revamp of Adelphi is part of a larger, multi-million pound refurbishment project undertaken to restore the hotel’s 1920s character and style.

“The Adelphi Suite marks the start of the 2012 refurbishment plan and continued efforts to provide a high quality, unique setting for all of our guests,” GM of The Waldorf Hilton in London, Peter Beckwith, said.

The Adelphi Suite has a capacity of 450 and can host corporate events, weddings and private receptions. The refurbishment of The Adelphi Suite follows in the footsteps of the Good Godfrey’s Bar and Lounge refurbishment, which was completed in 2011.

The hotel opened in 1908, pre-dating Selfridges, The BBC, The V&A and The Museum of London.
