Radisson Blu hotels rolls out dedicated package for pharma clients

Radisson Blu hotels in the UK is to roll out a second dedicated meetings and event package, developed specifically for the pharmaceutical industry. The new package will initially be available at three properties: the Radisson Blu Portman Hotel Central London, the Radisson Blu Hotel Manchester Airport, and the Radisson Blu Hotel London Stansted Airport.

The launch follows the recent appointment of Sales Manager, Pharmaceutical, Katie Hutchins, who, the group says, was hand picked for her expertise in the MICE field.

The new package follows the launch in February of the Blu Sky Training package for the training market. That package offers ABPI Code of Conduct compliance; healthcare industry specialists on-site; a choice of four-star venues and confidentiality, ensuring no clashes with competing pharma events.

“Our properties in Central London, and at Stansted and Manchester Airports are more than suitably equipped to meet the demands of the pharmaceutical industry in particular, offering great privacy and international connections, and with detailed knowledge of the ABPI regulations pertaining to ‘Meetings and Hospitality’, it is something we think will help our properties to stand out from the competition,” said Hutchins.
