National Osteoporosis Society appoints Glasgows for Manchester event

Preston-based events agency Glasgows has won a three-way bid to produce
the ‘Osteoporosis and Bone Conference 2012’. It will take place 1-4 July
at Manchester Central Convention Centre.

The four-day event,
hosted by the National Osteoporosis Society, the Bone Research Society
and the Paget’s Association, brings together clinicians, health
professionals and scientists in the area of bone health and will be
attended by over 1,000 delegates. Running alongside the conference will
be a large trade exhibition and poster area.
Glasgows Head of Business Development, George Thompson, said: “Glasgows
has a fantastic history of producing healthcare events and we’re
absolutely delighted to be working with the National Osteoporosis
Society. The Annual Conference is their largest and most important event
of the year and we’ll ensure this is the best yet.”
noted Glasgows’ expansion into the private and third sectors “continues
at a pace”. The company is predicting continued growth throughout 2012
and recently recruited three new members to the team.
