Delegates can grab a lift and a latte at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) thanks to an agreement with city bus operator First Aberdeen.
The ‘Grab a lift and a latte’ campaign journey starts at the new look Café Concourse where the Costa brand is on sale.
Delegates can then wander to the bus stop outside AECC on the Ellon Road for pick-up and, under the new co-operation agreement, take their hot drink on board.
The campaign is aimed at encouraging people to use First Aberdeen’s Park and Ride service and Managing Director of First Aberdeen, David Stewart, says: “Our Park and Ride services offer high quality, convenient and quick journeys into the city centre avoiding much of the congestion at peak times. As well as the free Wi-Fi we offer on Park and Ride services, I’m pleased that as a result of our partnership with the AECC customers can now take on board a coffee as they prepare for a day’s work.”
Brian Horsburgh, AECC’s Managing Director, commented: “We are delighted to open our Café Concourse to a wider audience. By having a joint approach with First Aberdeen we hope to provide an improved commute-to-work experience with the addition of a great coffee en-route.”
