Clareville picks up German Convention Bureau US contract

Clareville public relations company is to promote the German Convention
Bureau (GCB) on the US market through its Boston office.

The GCB made the appointment as part of its campaign to raise its
profile with US meetings, events and incentive travel planners.

Clareville will be the GCB’s US PR agency of record and will work closely with the GCB’s US headquarters in New York City.

Germany is the world’s second most popular meetings destination and a
strategic PR programme is designed to highlight the country’s sectoral
expertise clusters around pharmaceuticals, financials, automotive,
logistics and transportation and technology.

Clareville has had a decade-long, PR relationship with the IMEX Group
and US members of the IMEX America PR account are based at the agency’s
Boston office.

“As the longstanding agency for the IMEX Group
and the agency behind the public relations for the successful debut of
IMEX America show in 2011, Clareville knows the trends, the media and
influencers, and the issues and opportunities that drive our space,” says
Laura d’Elsa, the GCB’s regional director USA and Canada. “We are
planning to tap into all this to promote Germany more proactively in the
North American markets.”
