76 Portland Place has been awarded the ’Gold Accredited In Meetings (AIM) certification’ by the Meetings Industry Association (MIA), for its first class facilities and high levels of service that are reflected throughout the conference experience.
Achievement of the Gold award demonstrates that a venue has attained continuous exceptional standards against the most stringent quality assurance criteria, including rigorous assessment focusing specifically on a venue’s facilities, services and processes.
Director of 76 Portland Place, Kate Meehan, says: “The team is delighted to have achieved the re-accrediation from the MIA. It is an accolade to our superb facilities and services and the careful attention to detail that we have achieved the re-accrediation.”
Meehan continues: “The re-accrediation process involved a rigorous assessment by an independent expert with vast knowledge of the meetings industry.”
Assessors as well as clients expect efficient staff with an eye for detail, at a price reflective of the quality of the venue and service. A sample of feedback from the assessor states: “The venue has in place well defined and high service standards based around its service promise. There are clearly specified operational procedures to ensure that standards are met, staff are well trained, and customer feedback is obtained.”
