Venuemasters’ 2012 Academic Venue Show’s stands sell out

Organiser Venuemasters has revealed all stands have now been sold for the 2012 Academic Venue Show.

The event, at the Emirates Stadium in London on 16 May, will feature more than 50 exhibitors.

Ten new venues are participating including University of Chester, University of Dundee, University of Liverpool, University of Sheffield and University of Stirling.

Keynote speaker Janet Street-Porter will share her experiences in the media and in front of the camera on programmes such as Loose WomenI’m a Celebrity? and Question Time.

Former political advisor to Tony Blair, Alastair Campbell, was the show’s keynote speaker last year.

“We’re really pleased with the interest and excitement for the 2012 show,” said Venuemasters Chief Executive Terry Billingham. “With all sorts of venues exhibiting, from all sorts of locations, offering all sorts of rates, there really is something to suit all event organisers.

“The team is really looking forward to the show and we all feel positive this will be the biggest and best one yet.”
