41 Portland Place launch their Spring and Summer menus with Canapéculiar

On 22 March, London venue 41 Portland Place, home to the Academy of Medical Sciences, welcomed 75 guests to discover its Spring and Summer 2012 menus.

Upon arrival guests were welcomed with a concoction of chilled Prosecco with hibiscus flowers and pink ginger syrup before heading to the Laurie Landeau room where Head Chef, Will Carvalho created spectacular canapéculiarities such as scallops with hot passion fruit jelly, Cumbrian ham with a strawberry and parmesan biscuit, chorizo and squid with lemon mascarpone and dark chocolate mousse with fried shallots.

Guests also had the chance to sample wines and cocktails from the new drinks list, including a Watermelon Gin Spritzer and the 41 Portland Place Passionate Mist, while being the first to hear about the plans in store for a British sports themed Summer with Pimm’s parties and sunset barbecues on the turfed terrace.
