The Prophecy Club launch

A new MICE industry members club has opened its doors for business in Wimbledon. The Mayoress of Merton officially opened The Prophecy club, which was founded by Cass Rawat and David Ray-Scott, on 10 February.

The venue boasts six individual lounge areas, two bars and a 70 seat restaurant coupled with an al fresco dining space that can accommodate marquee functions. The upper floors will shortly be developed into meeting rooms, a games room, pampering room and four boutique hotel rooms.

The club is for the MICE, film and media industries with two boards to oversee decisions regarding the club, develop member benefits and approve members. Each member has to be approved by at least two board members. The inaugural Board is chaired by Alan Newton of Grass Roots with Celia Sholtz – Cavendish Group, Mark Sale – Smart Aviation, Nikki Mitchell – Destinations Unlimited, Eugénie Tham – Big Wednesday PR, Charlotte Evans – Condé Nast Johansens, Peter Groom – Morgans Hotels and Stephan Hein – Rocco Forte Collection.
