Earls Court and Olympia owners sell The Brewery

Earls Court and Olympia (EC&O Venues) owners Capital and Counties (CapCo) has sold off its interest in London events venue The Brewery.

According to CapCo’s annual financial report, released 29 February, The Brewery was sold on 9 February 2012 for a consideration of £2m, deferred for up to 10 years with minimum payments of £200,000 per annum.

The new owner’s name was not disclosed.

The net asset value of the Brewery at the date of sale was £400,000. According to CapCo, the venue contributed £800,000 to net rental income in 2011.

The Brewery is a corporate events venue based in the City of London. The venue rebranded last year with a new logo and website in a bid to showcase the service and team behind the venue, rather than the space itself, its management said at the time.
