Cheltenham Racecourse hits 100% for Meetings Benchmark Tracker

Cheltenham Racecourse, part of Jockey Club Venues, has scored 100 per cent in one of Market research agency BDRC Continental’s Meetings Benchmark Tracker mystery enquiry measurements.
The Meetings Benchmark Tracker study looked at how well venues respond to mystery meetings and events enquiries submitted via three key booking channels.
Cheltenham Racecourse is the first affiliate of Jockey Club Racecourses to achieve the top mark based on a test call. Full marks for the Meetings Benchmark Tracker test were awarded to Sales Executive Sarah Walker, following a telephone enquiry, while Sales Executive Emma Eastwood also scored 100 per cent on an email enquiry in January.
Cheltenham Racecourse is one of 14 racecourses owned by the Jockey Club, which claims to be the largest commercial group in British horseracing.
The venue is home to some of the UK’s most prominent racing fixtures, including the Cheltenham Festival. Conferences and events also account for a substantial part of the racecourse’s business. The racecourse offers free Wi-fi and technical and catering facilities on-site.
“We are all exceptionally pleased with the mystery call and email assessment,” Conference and Events Manager at Cheltenham Racecourse, Susie Bradshaw, said. “We know that BDRC Continental delivers results which we can rely upon to help us ensure Cheltenham Racecourse delivers exceptional customer service and satisfaction throughout the enquiry handling process.
“These recent results are not only a great way to see how we are faring against our competitors; they are also a reward to our team, who work extremely hard to promote our racecourse as a key destination to event and conference organisers.”
