ACC Liverpool appoints three key team members

ACC Liverpool has made three additions to its team including Kerry
Quinn, who has joined as Operations Director at the Kings Dock venue
from Cardiff Airport, where she was Airport Director.
 
“Having
worked in the aviation sector for 13 years, I have first-hand experience
of dealing with venues that are used to handling large volumes of
people and where the emphasis is on customer service,” Quinn said.
“Joining ACC Liverpool will give me the opportunity to use this
experience and I look forward to the exciting challenges ahead.”
 
Phil
Pickett, previously GM of Operations, has been appointed Project Director with specific responsibility for the ACC’s new 8,100sqm
exhibition centre, due to open in autumn 2014. Construction work will commence in 2013.
 
“This
is a fantastic opportunity to lead the team in this project,” Pickett
said. “The new facility will provide ACC Liverpool with the extra space
required for large-scale exhibitions.”
 
Meanwhile, Lynsey Watson has been appointed as the new Head of Human Resources.
 
“Much
of the success of ACC Liverpool is down to its strong and dynamic
workforce and it will be part of my role to ensure the continued
development of the team as the company progresses,” she said.
 
ACC Liverpool recorded a turnover of £14.5m for figures based on audited accounts for the year ended 31 March 2011.
