Menzies Welcombe Hotel completes second refurbishment phase

Stratford-upon-Avon based Menzies Welcombe Hotel Spa and Golf Club has completed the second phase of its £2.2m refurbishment programme, with a makeover of all its public and meeting rooms.

Upgrades have been made to the Trevelyan Restaurant, the bar and lounge and its function rooms. The rooms have been restyled and redecorated and the Welcombe Suite, used for weddings, conferences and events, has been re-styled and fitted with up-to-date audiovisual equipment. The Oak Room, which is used for board meetings and private dining for up to 20 guests, has also been refurbished with new furnishings.

Last summer, the Garden Wing bedrooms were redecorated. Each room is now equipped with an Apple Mac, flat screen TV, internet connection and Skype, plus free Wi-Fi. New buggy pathways were constructed on the 18-hole championship Golf course and two new treatment rooms, including a dual treatment room, were added to the facilities at the Welcombe Spa.
