Farnham Castle appoints new meetings Business Development Manager

Surey-based conference and events venue Farnham Castle has appointed Karen Fairs as its new Business Development Manager.
Before joining Farnham Castle, Fairs was account manager at creative agency Ten Alps. In addition, Fairs has worked with other marketing organisations managing clients such as Universal Studios and working client side for First Choice Holidays. Fairs’ role will be to increase footfall at Farnham Castle for conferences.
“Conferences and events play a key role in supporting Farnham Castle, a charity, whose main objective is the preservation of the Castle buildings and grounds,” said Fairs. “Our business model and strategy is built on flexibility and we can offer packages and accommodation for (large) corporate conferences, right through to private dinner parties or rooms for local companies looking for off-site meeting facilities.”
Farnham Castle maintains the attraction of being an important heritage asset while providing corporate facilities for up to 120 days a year and can cater for 30 residential delegates at a time. It has 14 meeting rooms and offers 32 en-suite bedrooms.
