A group of entrepreneurs and hospitality industry big hitters have come together to form and launch Buell Consulting, a loose grouping of B2B service companies.
The group is founded by recruitment entrepreneur Roddy Watt (CEO), and the Board will be chaired by Jeremy Logie OBE, ex-Chief Executive of the British Hospitality Association. Also on the Board are restaurant entrepreneur Michael Gottlieb (MD – Restaurants) and hotelier Peter Tyrie, MBE (MD – Hotels).
The firm has eight other executive professionals each with a minimum of 15 years experience, whose fields of expertise ranged from Finance, HR and Marketing to Operations, Property and Recruitment.
Buell also has 15 ‘Business Partner’ companies, each privately owned and focused on a similar range of business functions.
Watt said: “To have built such an exceptional team of genuine experts and top quality businesses has been rewarding. With feet on the ground from the Highlands of Scotland to the South of England, we provide high quality, practical, one-stop support to hospitality sector players large and small.”
Gottlieb added that the restaurant sector could derive operational benefit from using external partners to support them in both core and non-core areas. “Helping restaurant companies or hotel restaurants to recruit, outsource and cut costs is a major focus of Buell,” he said.
