Kaplan Well Met by Carnegie Village

Education and language school specialist company Kaplan International, will base one of its main 2012 summer schools at Well Met Conferencing’s Carnegie Village at Leeds Metropolitan University. 
Over 100 students and staff will be based at the venue from the 1 July to the 12 August 2012. They will receive all tutoring, full board accommodation and meals in Carnegie Village, and use the University’s sporting facilities and student’s union.
Kate Davis, Business Development Manager at Well Met Conferencing, said: “Carnegie Village is in a league of its own in terms of student accommodation. recently being awarded an AA 3* rating.”
Sandra McCord, Operations Manager for Kaplan International Centres, said: “I was initially looking for a venue in Manchester but Well Met provided us with a fantastic show-round and have an excellent history of hosting summer schools. The standard of accommodation and teaching facilities are high, the campus is safe and picturesque and the customer service of the Well Met team really made it an easy decision. The international reputation of Carnegie Sports facilities was also a major attraction.
“We are looking forward to heading north as we expand our summer school locations in 2012.”
