Business Travel Show 2012 signs 25% more exhibitors three months ahead

Centaur Travel Group’s Business Travel Show has reported a 25 per cent increase year-on-year of signed up 2012 exhibitors with three months to go.
The organiser claims the corporate travel market is “throwing its full support behind the Business Travel Show” and that 125 exhibitors are already on the floor plan for 2012.
“We’re delighted with the support the industry is showing towards the 2012 Business Travel Show,” said Event Director David Chapple. “It’s testament both to the resurging confidence within the market after a couple of harsh trading years, and also the continual injection of investment into the Business Travel Show in recent years to ensure it continues to deliver for buyers and suppliers.”
Chapple said the show is well on track to have more than 200 suppliers in the hall next February, an increase of 30 per cent on2011.
“We will also have 1200 hosted buyers taking part in the world’s largest corporate travel hosted buyer programme,” he continued.
American Express, Best Western Hotels, CWT, Egencia, Flybe, Heathrow Express, HRG, Japan Airlines, Premier Inn, Sabre Travel Network and Virgin Atlantic have all signed up to exhibit at the show, which takes place 7-8 February 2012 at Earls Court, London.
“We seek the best forums to connect with our clients, prospects and peers and the 2012 Business Travel Show provides an excellent platform,” said Head of UK at American Express Global Business Travel, Anthony Drury.
“During the show, we look forward to discussing current industry trends, sharing insights from our latest research and showcasing new, innovative services and technology.”
United Airlines, Sixt Rent a Car, Dolphin House, Go Native, Hotelscene, Oakwood Worldwide and Protea Hotels have all chosen to return as exhibitors in 2012 after time out of the show. This year’s exhibitors Barclaycard, Redspottedhanky, Best Western Hotels, DataFlexNet and Egencia will all increase their presence next year.
First-time exhibitors include Hong Kong Airlines, Travelodge, Oman Air, Akkeron Hotels, City Apartments, Cotswold House and Spa, Egyptair, Evolvi, Exclusive Hotels, GP Solutions, Grand City Hotel, Hotel Jalta, House of Modern Living, Jigsaw Conferences, Parker Car Service, Signature Cars, Supercity, transfer4me, Traveltime and TRX.
