Zibrant raises over £13,500 for the Prince’s Trust

Meetings and events agency Zibrant has raised over £13,500 for the Prince’s Trust as part of the charity’s Wild UK Challenge initiative.
Sixteen members of Zibrant staff in three teams were sponsored to cover 100 miles across Somerset and Devon on foot, by kayak and bicycle between 23 and 25 September 2011.
Starting at Dunster Castle near Minehead, the teams completed a hill race and navigation hike on day one followed by lake kayaking, orienteering challenges and over 30 miles of cycling on day two and camped out each night. The final day’s bike challenge finished on the Exmouth Coast, with extra points awarded for Zibrant team members participating in a sea swim before crossing the finish line.
MD of Sales and Marketing Fay Sharpe, who took part, said: “A huge congratulations to the Zibrant teams and of course thank you to our sponsors. We are delighted to be supporting a charity that helps young people make their way in business and are extremely grateful to all who helped us make such a great impact on the fundraising campaign.”
Zibrant wished to thank De Vere Hotels, Fairmont Raffles Swissotel, Hilton Hotels, Principal Hayley Hotels, Macdonald Hotels, Marriott Hotels, Melia Hotels, Movenpick Hotels, New Ink Printing Company, Sundial Group, Team Spirit promotions, C7 Architects and Wyndham Grand in Chelsea Harbour for supporting its fundraising efforts.
