The Big Cook Off” is to engage with Lime Venue Portfolio’s customers and understand their business and how we can work with them. The UK event caterering specialist has been travelling around the country meeting their best customers in their offices.

The current contest is the ’Two-egg omelette challenge’, where competitors must cook the best omelette in the quickest time possible. The winner walks off with a fun prize the trophy, while the wooden spoon winner licks their wounds.

“As a collection of unusual venues, we wanted to do something different to showcase the portfolio. Staff from our venues also attend in themed fancy dress, set themed displays and run fun competitions related to their venues,” said a spokesperson for the caterer. “The Big Cook Off also lets us talk about our favourite subject, the superb food we deliver at our venues. We believe that the importance that food has on the success or failure of an event is often under-rated.”
