UBM Live has launched the first in a new series of virtual events, ‘Pharmaceutical Track and Trace Authentication: The Fight against Fake Drugs’.
“Physical tradeshows offer undeniable benefits, but can sometimes be costly and time consuming to attend,” says the company’s PR.
The new style conferences, UBM Live claims, offers delegates the option of taking part from anywhere in the world.
The first, pharma-based event takes place 13 September and the online format will offer a tradeshow-like set-up with supplier webinars, two ‘exhibition halls’ and a lineup of featured speakers.
Confirmed speakers at the conference include the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA); EDQM – Department for Biological Standardisation; Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA).
Haf Cennydd, UBM Live Brand Director, said: “We have created this virtual event with the intention of offering a convenient format for key players in the industry to commune on this topic and find the best solutions and resources available to address these concerns.”
