Barclays Premier League Champions Manchester United have overhauled the conference and events division with a rebranding to United Events.
Creative agency WRG has been brought onboard as part of a rebrand and the Manchester-based agency has developed an identity and strategy for the new United Events.
This United Events branding was launched at an agent’s event on 6 August, which gave over 100 events booking agencies the chance to explore Old Trafford’s suites and facilities before sitting down for the Paul Scholes Testimonial match.
Old Trafford’s facilities can cater for events for 1,100 delegates. “Not only is the new United Events identity a stronger and confident identity, we feel we are able to show proudly that we are one of the country’s most unique and iconic venues,” said Head of Conference and Events at Manchester United, Rekha Haughton. “We want delegates to align themselves with our own brand and leave inspired, confident and happy that their event was the best it could have been.
The rebranded events and conference division launched officially on 8 August 2011.
