Sticky Wicket asks attendees to donate unwanted rugby and cricket kit

Organisers of this year’s Sticky Wicket event industry charity match are asking attendees to bring along their unwanted clean rugby and cricket kit.
The kit will be recycled and donated to LV=SOS Kit Aid, which helps 50,000 disadvantaged young people worldwide to play rugby.
Of particular interest to the charity are boots and trainers, socks, shirts, helmets, balls, bats, pads and shorts.
UK event industry professionals will converge on Regent’s Park on 27 July to raise money for the Lords Taverners charity, which aims to help disabled people and disadvantaged children take part in sport.
