Custard to drive traffic to Alton Towers Conference Centre

The Alton Towers Resort Conference Centre, adjoining the Merlin Entertainments’ theme park, has appointed PR and marketing agency Custard Communications to help drive its residential conferences.
Custard is to work on a six-month campaign to grow the awareness, credibility and customer base of the Alton Towers Resort in Staffordshire.
“It’s a real buzz to be taking the reins with the promotion of a brand that’s blown the minds of thrillseekers like us since the early 80s,” says MD of Custard Communications, Petra Clayton.
“We’re looking forward to working with them to identify new routes to business in the MICE sector and fully harness the resort’s potential as the ultimate corporate events venue, complete with themed accommodation,” adds Clayton.
Alton Towers Resort has a meetings capacity of between 16 to 700. For marquee events the capacity rises to 3,000 or buy-outs for 15,000 in the Theme Park.
