From 1 August 2011, celebrity restaurateur Claudio Pulze’s catering division Vinum will take over the event catering at London event venue, Vinopolis.
“We recognise that great food is as important as great wine at successful events,” said MD of Vinopolis, Sam Cox. “Claudio is an inspiration to us all and I am confident that his team at Vinum will deliver outstanding results for our clients.”
Pulze said: “Events are nothing new to us at Vinum. We have catered for a wide range of events at our destination restaurants and in the event spaces at Vinopolis, including a memorial dinner for 900 people to pay tribute to British rugby great, Andy Ripley. My team, headed up by executive chef, Moges Wolde, is passionate about quality ingredients and we know that we can bring back a sense of much needed theatre to event catering. Eating out, whether it’s in a restaurant or at an event, should always make you feel a special sense of occasion and give you that shiver of excitement and anticipation.”
Pulze has opened over 35 restaurants in the capital since 1975, in collaboration with some of today’s most celebrated chefs including Gordon Ramsay, Marcus Wareing and Marco Pierre White.
Pulze set up Vinum in 2001 to open Vinopolis’ destination restaurants – Cantina Vinopolis, Brew Wharf and Wine Wharf.
