Building Hotels and Leisure Conference merges with UBM’s Sleep Event

The Sleep Event Europe has merged its conference with the 2011 Building Hotels and Leisure Conference. The new, unified conference takes place 23-24 November 2011 at the Business Design Centre, London.
Increasing tourism in London is driving a boom in hotel building and The London Plan has called for 40,000 new bed spaces by 2031. The Building Hotel and Leisure Conference, organised by Building and BD magazines, concentrated on developments in the design and construction of hotels and leisure specific to the London region.
Sleep Event Europe organiser, UBM Built Environment, believes the merging of the conferences presents a complete offering of developments, design directions and investment opportunities within the hotel sector.

Tony Crinion, Brand Director for The Sleep Event, told CN: “We felt that the prospect of merging the 2011 Building Hotel and Leisure Design and Construction Conference with The Sleep Event Conference was simply too great an opportunity to miss. The aim of the conference is to prepare the industry for the year ahead providing all the tools needed for the entire spectrum of disciplines within the industry.”
