Simon Mills to Head Sales and Marketing at Twickenham Experience

Twickenham Experience Limited (TEL) has appointed former VisitBritain Head of Business Visits and Events as its new Head of Sales and Marketing.

Mills will be responsible for non match day business targeting senior event influencers and buyers.
The creation of the new senior role is part of TEL’s vision “to provide the most vibrant sports stadium experience in the country with unrivalled all round utilisation”.
 
Chris Morris, managing director of TEL said:  “Creating this role and appointing Simon Mills to it, is confirmation of TEL’s continued ambition to grow and develop our potential as the venue of choice for both UK and overseas clients. Simon comes from a lateral business bringing an objective viewpoint to our strategic development. He is a respected senior marketer in the industry who will certainly drive our business and help us realise the unique and full potential of the facilities at Twickenham Stadium.”

Mills added: “Twickenham is a world class venue with so much potential. An important part of my role will be to introduce Twickenham Stadium to new markets and put in place a strategic marketing programme encompassing traditional and social media to enable more potential clients to be aware of what we do”. 

Twickenham’s new Conference and Event Centre provides 5,000sqm of integrated space including a state of the art auditorium with tiered seating for up to 450 delegates.

The facilities incorporate The London Marriott Twickenhan, and a Virgin Active Classic Health and Leisure Centre.
