Keith Prowse to use Wimbledon presence for fundraiser

Hospitality provider Keith Prowse will use its presence at this year’s Wimbledon tennis championship to fundraise for Cancer Research UK.
Its redesigned hospitality hub, The Gatsby Club, will invite guests on 28 June to wear their favourite pink outfits and help raise funds for the charity’s research into breast cancer.
A 20 per cent share of each package with Court Number One tickets booked for the day in The Gatsby Club will be donated to Cancer Research UK.
A social media campaign will also encourage guests to upload photos of themselves live at the event on specific Twitter hashtags, with a chance to win bottles of pink champagne.
“The proceeds from this will help us carry out important research and we’re proud to be associated with one of the world’s most iconic sporting events,” said Head of Corporate Partnerships at Cancer Research UK, Claire Rowney.
“Using phones is sometimes considered bad manners at the dinner table, but on Tuesday we hope to see smartphones at the ready for tweeting,” added Keith Prowse’s Head of Marketing Ted Walker.
The 28 June at Wimbledon is Ladies’ Singles Quarter-Finals Day.
