Celebrities turn out for Jumeirah Carlton Tower’s 50th anniversary

On Monday 13 June, international hotel company, Jumeirah Group celebrated the 50th anniversary of its Jumeirah Carlton Tower in London with a ʻFabulous at Fiftyʼ party.

The night attracted the original “glamour pack”, who enjoyed the hotel when it first opened in 1961, as well as celebrities such as John Cleese, Jennifer Wade, Sir Stirling Moss OBE, Terry Venables, Susan Hampshire and Petronella Wyatt.

Clive Aslet signed copies of his book, All That Life Can Afford, launched in honour of the occasion.
