The organiser of the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT), Royal Air Force Charitable Trust, has reported its hospitality sales are £100,000 over target, two months out from the event.
The only corporate hospitality still available is two private chalets (70 sold) and some tables in the Trenchard Chalet (shared facility).
Clients who have booked corporate hospitality at RIAT include Rolls Royce, Land Rover, Vauxhall, Breitling, Marshall Group, QinetiQ, Serco and Saab AB.
“We see this as a positive sign for the whole corporate hospitality industry, despite recent unfounded scares that the Corporate Bribery Act would kill hospitality,” says Sponsorship Manager, Francesca Heap. “Our clients view RIAT as a professional platform to conduct business while having a thrilling day out.
“Many have taken advantage of our new product launch area that gives them an outside display area close to their hospitality suite, thus allowing them to showcase large products and kit to their guests.”
The RIAT is the world’s largest military air show that attracts over 155,000 visitors, 6,000 corporate guests and over 2,500 international air and ground crew from over 22 countries.
RIAT is an annual event that will take place on the 16-17 July 2011 at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire.
