1. The Willows Training Centre at Wyboston Lakes
The Willows Training Centre at Wyboston Lakes is a purpose built 150 bedroom residential conference and training centre providing dedicated meeting facilities in a peaceful and tranquil environment located on the Cambridgeshire/Bedfordshire border.
It has a large conference room for 110 delegates and contracted corporate training suites available. It also has a restaurant that seats 200 and its own enclosed courtyard garden. There is an 18-hole golf course on site with leisure and watersports facilities offering a range of wet and dry team-building facilities.
2. Warwick Conferences
Based in Coventry, Warwick Conferences has three purpose built training and conference centres; Arden; Radcliffe and Scarman, which can host from two to 1,200 delegates. Each centre provides residential conference facilities all year round. In addition the site has the Conference Park, which is a package, offering guests the services and amenities available from the University of Warwick campus, from boardrooms to tiered auditoria, including a 1,200-seat conference hall, a 570-seat theatre, a 250-seat conference room plus full access to the University’s comprehensive sports facilities, shops and restaurants.
3. De Vere Venues Whites
Based in Bolton, De Vere Venues Whites is a modern meeting and exhibition centre, which can be configured to host up to 3,000 people. Whites is fully-integrated into the Reebok Stadium, home of Bolton Wanderers FC. A quarter of a million pounds has recently been spent on an upgrade to the venue’s premier suite and exhibition centre. The venue breaks down into 10 suites, 43 syndicate rooms and four corner suites with main rooms offering natural daylight. There are also 125 ensuite bedrooms. The leisure facilities include an indoor pool, mini-gym, jacuzzi and sauna and steam room.
4. The Vale Resort and Spa
Situated in over 650 acres of Welsh countryside, The Vale Resort and Spa offers flexible meeting rooms, conference rooms and meeting space for up to 700 delegates plus dining facilities for up to 420. Each one of its 10 meeting rooms benefits from natural daylight and its technical conference support ranges from the provision of specific seating plans through bespoke sound and visual systems, to building backdrops and complete exhibition sets. The venue also offers a teambuilding and staff incentives package which ranges from corporate golf days to orienteering, archery, off-road driving, or assault courses.
5. Millennium Gloucester Hotel and Conference Centre
The Millennium Gloucester Hotel and Conference Centre in Kensington, London, offers 600sqm of meeting and event space. This includes 25 function rooms ranging from contemporary to traditional and with the capacity to hold from between two and 500 delegates. The four star deluxe venue also has a number of bedrooms. It is located in the heart of Kensington, with Hyde Park, Kensington Palace and Gardens, The Royal Albert Hall, The Natural History Museum, Science and Victoria & Albert Museums, as well as Earls Court and Olympia Exhibition Centres all just a short walk away.
