Farnborough International Venue and Events gets more space

After a strong business start to 2011,
Farnborough International Venue and Events (FIVE) has won planning permission
to increase the use of temporary venue structures across more days of the year. FIVE
will now be able to offer 15,000sqm of space for temporary structures on 160
days of the year, which is an increase of 4,150sqm.

“Now with planning permission granted for
larger temporary structures, we have the ability to offer solutions for small,
medium and very large scale indoor and outdoor events,” said operations director
Grahame Jones.

Over the past two months, FIVE held
several events which organisers say all saw an increase in visitor numbers.
These included a 6,500 attendance for the Southern Manufacturing and
Electronics event, which represented a rise of 30 per cent.
