Banks Sadler’s operating profits grow by 50%

Despite challenging trading conditions, Banks Sadler Group has reported turnover and profits continued to grow in 2010.
Turnover was £26.8m, 16 per cent higher than in 2009, with operating profits up 50 per cent on the previous year at £468K. The group also added to cash funds which were 26 per cent higher than 2009.
“We are starting to see considerable growth from our overseas offices and this, along with the continued healthy performance of our UK offices, gives us great confidence that the group will generate significant growth again in 2011 and beyond,” said CEO Leigh Jagger.
“Although trading conditions are still challenging in some areas, new account wins, growth of existing accounts and a very busy second half to our financial year helped ensure we continued to deliver good results,” said Jagger.
