American Express Community Stadium events team appointed

Catering and hospitality supplier Azure Support Services has appointed a new events team at Brighton’s American Express Community Stadium.
The team will look after the soon-to-be launched venue’s match and non-match day corporate hospitality and events business. Azure won the five-year contract in February.
Former hospitality and events manager for Ascot Racecourse, Polly Harrison, heads up the team as the new Sales and Marketing Manager. “The Amex stadium will make its mark as one of the most exciting new venues to open in Sussex, and we are aiming to make every event a positive and memorable occasion. We will stand out from the crowd and aim to become known as Brighton’s best ‘events in the city’ team,” she said.
Other team members include former Cluster Manager for the Copthorne Millennium Hotel Group, Niki Davis and Jo Brooks, who was previously Business Development Executive at the Rose Bowl, Southampton.
Former Event Manager at the Hilton Metropole, Lucy Stone, and Nadia Stones, who used to run her own events company also join the team.
The event rooms at the Amex stadium will open this summer offering capacities from two to 500 delegates.
