St Ermin’s Hotel Westminster reopens after £30m revamp

St Ermin’s Hotel in Westminster is set to reopen in April after a £30m renovation.

The prime London property is the first venture in Europe for the hotel’s new owner, Amerimar Holdings, who are known for one-off, individual properties such as The Hutton in Nashville.

The £30m has been used to modernise the grade II listed Victorian property at the same time as restoring its Art Nouveau and Rococco interior. A 70-seat restaurant, Caxton Grill and a private dining room have been added as meeting spaces to complement the Crystal Ballroom and other meeting rooms.

“Our aim throughout is to allow the quirky and characterful aspects of The St Ermin’s to shine through – she has quite a colourful past – whilst bringing her right up to date in terms of design, comfort and service for our guests,” said General Manager, Douglas McHugh.
