Emap’s Retail Week Conference is to see the launch of a new mobile solution which creates delegate interaction with speakers.
Mobile marketing company 2ergo has created a product which allows delegates to ask questions of the high profile speakers at the event via a mobile website (mSite) which also contains maps, Twitter feeds, timetables and updates.
Visitors to the event can also subscribe to SMS reminders about keynote speeches and seminars through the mobile website.
2ergo’s Joint MD John Stevens says: “The mobile services on offer at the event not only enhance the experience for delegates, but transform the way the industry can experience the event.
“If this technology was utilised in store, retailers could use the same proposition to acquire new customers, create loyalty and drive incremental sales.”
