Projectlink to rebrand under Grass Roots umbrella

Projectlink Motivation, the Teddington-based recognition and incentives business, has rebranded as Grass Roots Projectlink and is now operating as a division of Grass Roots UK.

Projectlink Motivation was acquired by Grass Roots Group in 2003 and traded initially under the stewardship of Stephen Humphreys, currently VP of Grass Roots America, and more recently under MD Ian Horsham.

Horsham, who joined Projectlink in August 2007, will continue to lead the business, reporting in to Group Chairman and CEO David Evans. He will be supported by Steve Baker and Vikki Zelkin who head up the sales and marketing and client services teams respectively.

The change coincides with an overview of Grass Roots marketing facing services in the UK which have now been grouped into eight areas. Andy Lister is responsible for the Digital Marketing, Learning, Measurement, Loyalty and Reward divisions; Ian Horsham, in addition to Recognition and Incentives, also has responsibility for Consumer Promotions, while Nick Bender continues as the MD of the Events and Communications operation, known formally as Grass Roots EventCom.

The change for Grass Roots Projectlink makes life much simpler according to Horsham.

“Grass Roots has always been famous for Recognition and Incentives,” he said. “Projectlink has been a part of the Grass Roots family for nearly eight years now, our clients are very comfortable with this and we feel the time is right to reflect this comfort in our name. The change has been the catalyst for us to bring all our recognition and incentive talent into one team with a very clear focus. At the start of 2011 everyone is raring to go and I’m hugely optimistic for the year ahead.”

The Grass Roots Projectlink client base includes Centrica, Aviva, and Novartis and the new team recently celebrated a second year extension of its Spotlight programme with Marks and Spencer.
