Shropshire Food Enterprise Centre has launched new meeting facilities.
The Shrewsbury-based venue has purpose-built meeting, training and event space for up to 60 people. It also boasts a Taste Kitchen, which provides visitors with food and drink locally-sourced from producers in the West Midlands. The kitchen can also be used specifically for food and drink companies to showcase food and drink products to potential buyers, run consumer focus groups, undertake product development, conduct cooking demonstrations and host corporate teambuilding days.
Heart of England Fine Foods (HEFF) took over the management of the centre in March 2010.
Karen Davies, HEFF Chief Executive, said: “Our Taste Kitchen is available for all businesses to use, but has been tailored for the requirements of that industry in particular. And because the way to delegates’ hearts is often through their stomachs, we provide them with local food of the best quality, with everything being served from the region.”
