Liverpool gives EchoTwo

Echo Arena Liverpool, part of ACC Liverpool and the BT Convention
Centre, has created a new identity for its smaller events space with the launch
of EchoTwo.

Touted as a venue-within-a-venue,
EchoTwo has a capacity of 4,000 and is aimed at artists and promoters looking for “a
more intimate performance space”, according to Echo Arena
Liverpool.

EchoTwo, situated at the D-End of
the Echo Arena, would suit music, comedy and classical acts, with the remainder
of the venue sectioned off. “The new space will be intimate, creating a superb
atmosphere for acts that don’t want to play to a massive arena audience,
enabling fans to feel like they are really close to the performers,” said Echo
Arena GM Tim Banfield.

“Demand for this kind of space is
growing all the time and the result is a direct response to industry feedback.
For some performers, the city’s other long-standing venues are simply too small,
while the entire Echo Arena is too big. This fills the middle
ground.”

Echo Arena will follow this
development with branding and a separate EchoTwo identity
logo.
