In a bid to boost its appeal as a tourism destination, The Government of Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce, has appointed a London-based advertising agency.
Orchestra will manage Dubai’s UK and Ireland consumer media planning and account. The agency’s portfolio includes Azores Tourist Board and Visit Finland.
Orchestra’s Planning Partner Dan Statham said: “We will be using our destination marketing expertise to help change perceptions of Dubai across a range of audiences.”
Ian Scott, Director UK and Ireland for Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing, said: “2010 was another year of growth for Dubai as a tourist destination, both globally and specifically out of the UK. The appointment of Orchestra will enable us to build on that momentum through 2011 and beyond.”
