Willie Walsh a winner at Business Travel Awards 2011

UK flag carrier British Airways
and hotel booking agency BSI (for a second
time) were among the winners for the Business Travel Awards 2011
,
attended by 1,200 industry professionals at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House,
London (25 January).

The 16th Business Travel Awards was
hosted by TV celebrity Jason Manford. The panel of judges, consisting of travel
buyers and consultants, chose the winners from a shortlist of 80.

London
City won the title of Best Airport
in the UK for the speed and efficiency of its passenger
processing and its handling of recent challenges such as heightened security and
disruption caused by adverse weather conditions.

Ferguson congratulated BA CEO Willie Walsh “on his well-deserved Outstanding
Achievement Award”.
