UKIP chooses Scarborough for 2011 spring conference

nationalist party, UKIP, has selected Scarborough as the destination for its 2011 spring
conference 4-6 March 2011.

The party’s
leader, Nigel Farage, will address UKIP members at Scarborough’s Spa Complex. Over the two
days the members are due to discuss
the party’s aims and ambitions for the forthcoming year.

“UKIP has a
massive level of support in Yorkshire, and even though it will be a long way to
travel for many of our supporters, it will no doubt be worth making the trip
up,” said UKIP MEP for Yorkshire and North
Lincolnshire, Godfrey Bloom. “It’s around 10 years since Scarborough last held the event, and we are delighted to
be coming back to the area.”
