The Celtic Manor Resort
in Wales which
hosted the Ryder Cup in 2010 has launched a new sponsorship package around the
Celtic Manor Wales Open this June.
The Chairman Club has been designed so companies can
realise the benefits of investing in golf. Those joining will have the benefits
of hospitality at the Wales Open and
pre-tournament Gala Dinner, as well
as having their company logo displayed at the tournament entrance, on the official website and in the
Sponsors will also be given the opportunity to use
Celtic Manor’s facilities to entertain clients, reward or incentivise staff and
network with like-minded businesses. Those signing up to a four-year
membership package will also receive
tickets or hospitality to the 2014 Ryder Cup at Gleneagles, depending on their
Celtic Manor Resort Owner Sir Terry Matthews says: “Last
year was a milestone year in the history of Celtic Manor. The Ryder Cup, which
we hosted on the purpose-built Twenty Ten Course, was hailed as the ‘greatest
ever’ and the event transformed the
Celtic Manor to a globally recognised brand.
“The Ryder Cup is only a starting point, however, for a
new chapter in Celtic Manor’s development and I am excited about what lies ahead. We aim
to crank up the profile of The Celtic Manor Wales Open and the event will be a
focal point for my new Chairman’s Club,” he adds.
