Britannia Hotels Group buys Pontins out of administration

Britannia Hotels Group  has bought Pontins, the ailing North West holiday camp
business, out of administration.

Pontins
operates five sites, in Southport, Somerset,
Sussex, Suffolk and North Wales.
According to Businessdesk.com, it went into administration in November and owed
£47.6m to around 1,000 creditors.

The deal is
said to safeguard 850 jobs at the iconic company.
