Menzies Cambridge invests in the Premier Meetings league

Menzies Cambridge Hotel and Conference Centre
has completed a major investment programme which it hopes will turn the venue
into one of the key conference centres in the county.

Under the banner ‘Premier Meetings’, the
centre now offers 11 refurbished meetings spaces able to host conferences for up
to 200. There is also an 18-hole golf course.

Michelin-trained chef Kevin Jackman is
supplying new menus from his AA rosette kitchen at the 136-bedroom property.

General Manager Shaun Van Looy, claims the
new Premier Meetings product is a departure from traditional offerings in the
Cambridgeshire locality.

“We are more than aware that a great product
is one thing; it is the people that make the difference,” Van Looy says. “Hence
we have created a new role of Premier Meetings Manager, which oversees
the meetings service and ensures a familiar face cares for our
clients”.
