Silk Ball 2010, raises £2000 for East Cheshire Hospice

Cheshire-based event management agency Silk Event Management’s second annual Silk Ball raised more than £2,000 for the East Cheshire Hospice.

The ball was held at Macclesfield Town Hall and was attended by local business leaders. Coronation Street’s Charlie Lawson helped run the charity auction.

Silk Ball organiser Janet Hooson, said: “The East Cheshire Hospice provides a real lifeline to those suffering from long-term illness and I am thrilled by how generous people have been with their donations this year. The event was a total sell out, so we are already putting plans in place to make next year’s event even bigger.”
