WorldEvents appoints Singapore rep

WorldEvents has appointed Cath Riley to represent the agency in Singapore.
The move follows the Grass Roots agency’s announcement of the opening of a
Singapore
office last week.

The move is part
of WorldEvents’ global development strategy which saw it open an Asian hub
office in Hong
Kong at the end of 2009.

Riley previously
worked at KPMG in Shanghai and at
WorldEvents has been involved with client accounts including Chanel,
GlaxoSmithKline, Johnson & Johnson, Norgine and Pfizer. Riley will report to
Rebecca Lim, the agency’s General Manager for Asia.

WorldEvents Group
Executive Chairman Graham Keene, said: “Following the successful launch of our
Asia Hub office in Hong Kong, and a number of new business wins, we have
established the Singapore
office to increase our development in this vital market and to provide
additional on the ground support to our global
clients.”
