New software launch for Expotel

Expotel has launched an internal meeting room management system intended to help clients cut costs by
making the best use of their own meetings space before having to use external
meeting rooms at hotels or venues.

Due to go live later this autumn, the Meeting Room
Management System enables clients to
view availability and book rooms in any of their own premises through an online
service or over the telephone through an Expotel
consultant.

The service is intended to complement the agency’s existing audio and web-conferencing
technology, which
features an online meeting
environment suitable for single
events broadcast to a large audience, as well as focussed meetings and workshops.

Expotel’s Head of Partner Services, Mark Bevan, says: “Agencies who want their clients to
remain loyal to them must pursue new ways to help save on meeting costs and the typical client could find that
they can hold up to 30 per cent of their get-togethers
internally.”
