Easyjet launches low-cost route to Gothenburg

Easyjet is to open a new low-cost
route between London and Gothenburg, home of the Swedish Exhibition and Congress Centre,
this autumn.

The airline will fly into Gothenburg
from London Gatwick seven days a week from 6 September.

“We think that Gothenburg will be a
perfect addition to our network for both business and leisure travellers,” said
Easyjet’s UK manager, Paul Simmons.

Ryanair, meanwhile, is to launch a new route from
City Airport to Ciampino in Rome
on 2 November, operating three times
a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
