Choice purchase of Arrival Hotel Reservations

Booking agency Choice Locations has bought
Staffordshire-based Arrival Hotel Reservations, in a deal effective 1 September
2010.

Arrival Hotel Reservations is a small agency
with a turnover last
year of around £1m,
according to Choice director Andy Whitehouse. It specialises in offering a
corporate hotel accommodation booking service, primarily for local companies.

Whitehouse tells CN that the deal is “a perfect fit” for
Choice Locations. Arrival’s Hotel Reservation’s four staff will move to join the
Choice team at the head office in Birmingham in a new, merged 16-strong
operation.

“Arrival Hotel Reservations is well-established and it has provided an excellent
hotel booking service in the past to a base-load of really good clients,” says
Sally Ann Clift, acquisitions director at Choice Locations.

Choice Locations bought Loughborough-based
conference agency Impact Conferences in 2007 and is an active member of The
Hotel Booking Agents Association. Whitehouse tells CN the acquisition trail has not
necessarily gone cold: “We are always looking for
opportunities”.
