Asian group to KOP six-star London hotel development

Singapore-based luxury hotel group KOP is reportedly in talks to take
control of a £300m hotel development in London, according
to Property
Week
.

The
property magazine says talks between KOP Group, Stan Thomas’s Thomas Enterprises
and lender Lloyds Banking Group are progressing over a controlling stake in a
six-star hotel development site at 10 Trinity
Square, close to the
Tower of
London.

Construction on the 490,000 square foot site can, in theory, go ahead
after Thomas won planning consent for the scheme last
year.

Georgia-based Thomas Enterprises bought 10 Trinity Square
in 2006 for an estimated £100m.
